We have a wonderful space at The Fresh Academy. With dozens of sets ready to deploy in minutes. It’s pretty much an adventure playground – who says portrait studios are stuck to a plain white set?

From bright high key lifestyle to traditional fine art masters to punchy hard lit fashion imagery, we have the best state of the art equipment not usually found in studios which give access to members of the public.

Fresh Academy is part of the Click Connection Corporation which also runs Click Props, the largest photographic backdrop manufacturer in the UK and in our opinion the finest photographic backdrops in the world. This allows us to very quickly create bespoke sets for specific ideas that our clients may have (minimum spends apply to custom set builds).

With the equipment and facilities we have paired with some of the best photographers in the UK, the Fresh Academy is equipped and prepared to deliver a photoshoot experience that we have not seen replicated in any other portraiture studio in the UK.

Studio Two

Studio Two is our brand new studio set up permanently for Capow! and Enchanted by Fresh. Being the flagship studio of a group of more than 80 studios throughout the UK we needed to build something that both impressed and inspired both our clients and our member studios across the country.

We commissioned the design and build of the UK’s largest Capow and Enchanted set. Our beautiful sets allow us to create amazing imagery and gives us the creative freedom to shoot beyond the normal constraints of a temporary set.

We have the largest range or props and costumes of the Capow! studios and have a full sized rocket launcher prop as well as some custom made environmental props. We have a HUGE amount of lighting and special effects including stage smoke, ambient lighting and the best photographic lighting available in the industry.

Our Enchanted set is something to behold, a truly beautiful and magical woodland setting beautifully designed and crafted by our master prop makers and our brilliantly talented and dedicated studio team. Fully immersive, our set is a one of a kind and produces some truly breathtaking imagery.

Salon

Now ladies, it is no big secret that if you feel great you will end up looking great! That’s why our fashion and boudoir shoots include a full makeover with our fun MUA team. Our girls in hair & makeup are some of the best in the industry, with clientele such as BBC and Miss England, they really know how to work some magic for the camera.

If you’ve got some inspiration for your look already then please bring it along with you, otherwise, sit back, relax and trust their knowledge of colours, tones and styling. For best results, please arrive with clean dry hair and no makeup on!

For those wanting tips and tricks, our girls can share ideas with you based on your skin type and colouring. They often have some great stories to share as many of them still work for TV and films when they’re not spending their time at Fresh.
